Anthony Bourdain was an American celebrity chef, author, and television personality. He was noted as one of the most influential chefs in the world.
In 2013, Bourdain traveled to Israel for an episode of “Parts Unknown”. In the show he said his father was Catholic and his mother was Jewish, but that he was raised without religion.
“I’ve never been in a synagogue. I don’t believe in a higher power,” he told viewers. “But that doesn’t make me any less Jewish, I don’t think.”
May his memory be a blessing
