I usually speak of my dad when I talk of the Holocaust, but today I’d also like to let everyone know that my dad was part of a large thriving family in Poland. This picture is just that of his mother’s side before the war. Out of the 51 pictured here… only 9 survived. My dad was the only one of his immediate family. Please remember the countless millions who perished…the ones who had no pictures…no one to remember and light a candle for them. May their memories be but a blessing.” – Judy Scher Salem
