When an #Imam tells you they made sure to get you a special #kosher meal. When you don’t have to worry about shaking the male attendees’ hands because they all get it. When there are breaks for prayer (that was so beautiful). And when everyone in the room has an understanding that being religious and modest is a multifaceted journey of not only #faith and #fashion — but #feminism, fortitude…and friendship.
So moved by the openness, warmth and camaraderie felt today at Princeton University and honored to have been chosen to represent Jewish Modest Fashion for this incredibly eye-opening, engaging and inspiring event!
And a special thank you to #Chabad of Princeton for supporting the event and spreading the word, even though you just welcomed a new baby! Mazal Tov!
Feeling so grateful for our diverse supportive community, and to Gd for giving us this “business,” which is about so much more than clothes but an opportunity to teach, learn, connect and grow.”
