I am 67. I just read this letter that my mother wrote about her grandparents. I never knew about it and just needed to share it with people who would understand.
“My father was born in Lithuania His father was Mordechai & his mother Yenta. His parents were shot to death when the Germans came to Kovno because they were old.”
