Nechama Grossman, one of the oldest Holocaust survivors in the world and believed to be Israel’s oldest, passed away last week at the age of 109 on Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day.
After surviving the atrocities of the Nazis, she rebuilt her life in Israel. Her son, Vladimir Shvetz, recently said, “She lived through the worst of humanity, and she survived. She raised her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to teach them that unchecked hatred cannot win.”
May her memory be a blessing.
