At last.

This is my fathers headstone. Humans of Judaism was created in memory of my dad during my year of mourning. When my parents were drawing up their wills they discussed if they should be buried in New York or Israel. New York would be convenient for us kids who live closeby, but my father said no, they should be buried in Israel to give us children a reason to go. Since my father passed away, I have been here more often than ever before. Unfortunately, the last few years have been a challenge to visit, but here I am. Finally. Missing you today and every day dad.

May his memory be a blessing
