This is one of my favorite pictures of my dad. I took this photo several years ago at the airport when we were all flying out to a family simcha together. Wherever and whenever we traveled, if the sun was coming up, my dad was putting on his Talis and Tefillin.
Today is Father’s Day and unfortunately, my father is no longer here. Last weekend marked 5 years since I started Humans of Judaism in his memory and today allows for another moment to stop and remember the good times.
To those who are celebrating and those enjoying warm memories, wishing everyone a very Happy Father’s Day
