“I wanted to share the story of my father, Avram Abergel. When he was called for the ‘Yom Kippur war’, He started in the Golan Heights, when Israel almost lost it to the Syrians. After miracles, they were able to settle the area and he was moved, along with his unit to the Sinai desert. They were there for Chanukah, without a Menorah. He emptied out 8 of the Browning 0.5 Bullets and used it as a Menorah. We still have it at home as you can see in the pic. As a kid I was very proud to use it on my own.”
