This is Hana, my great grandmother. A Holocaust surviver. I’m her great-granddaughter. All her life she dreamt of attending my wedding. When I was 20 I got a phone call from her. She told me she dreamt that she would get to be in my wedding and that under the Chuppah she would scream as loud as possible: ‘This is my revenge, to be in my great-granddaughters wedding.’ Two years later, her dream came true.
