This is an appreciation post for Danny Phillips, the hero who helped stop last week’s terrorist attack at a synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan. The security guard and former police officer, who spent 28 years on the local police force, helped neutralize the attacker who rammed a vehicle into Temple Israel and opened fire. Danny was the only person injured in the attack. His actions protected the lives of 140 preschool children and staff inside, preventing a mass tragedy. Thank you, Danny!
