85 years ago, on November 16, 1940, the Nazis sealed the Warsaw Ghetto, the largest Jewish ghetto during WWII, confining over 380,000 Jews, about 30% of Warsaw’s population. This photo, taken during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, has become one of the most widely recognized images of the Holocaust.
