The Spectacular Great Synagogue of Szeged, Hungary ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ Built in 1902, the Great Synagogue of Szeged is the second largest synagogue in Hungary and a masterpiece of religious architecture, blending eclectic styles. During World War II the synagogue was used as a storage facility, and following the war it underwent significant renovations before being re-inaugurated in 1989. Today it serves primarily as a cultural center and tourist attraction, admired for its breathtaking architecture.
