Release of HUMANS OF JUDAISM

Humans of Judaism was created 10 years ago. Today, I am overwhelmed with emotion and excited to share the release of the HUMANS OF JUDAISM book. This is a photo of me and my father in Jerusalem, taken some time ago. Sadly, he passed away in November 2013, and during the year of mourning, I wanted to do something meaningful in his memory. So, on June 8, 2014, I uploaded Humans of Judaism’s first post to Instagram, with the intention of sharing positive Jewish content on social media.

Humans of Judaism was born during a time of tremendous grief and served as a tool in my personal healing. What comforted me was learning the lessons from our history and seeing how warmly the project was embraced. My hope is that the book can serve as a source of strength and Jewish pride, becoming a treasured addition to your home.

The book is a labor of love, with each story and photo handpicked to cultivate this meaningful collection of Jewish stories and I can’t wait for you to read it.

With love,

Nikki Schreiber
