Mazel tov to Holocaust survivor Pola Israelski Kligerman who celebrated her 100th birthday this week! Pola (née Koper) was born on December 25, 1920 in Białobrzegi, Poland. During the war, she was interned in both the Majdanek and Auschwitz concentration camps. Against all odds, she survived the Shoah and built a new life here in America. Today, Pola is the matriarch of her family and is pictured here with her great-grandson Liam. Her endless grit and refusal to give up continue to inspire her family each and every day. Happy Birthday, Pola. Ad 120
