September 5-6, 1972. The Munich Massacre.
Exactly 52 years ago, during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany, eleven Israeli Olympic team members were taken hostage and killed, by the Palestinian “Black September” terrorist group. A German police officer was also killed during the attack.
