In 1994, as a child, I traveled from Ukraine to Israel with my family. In 1995, however, we were forced to move to Germany for family reasons. My son was born in Germany, but always had a fascination with Israel. His greatest wish had been to travel to Israel. This year he turned 13 and thank God there were no travel restrictions and we were allowed to celebrate his Bar Mitzvah in Jerusalem. This has been the high point of his life so far.
