HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Celebrating 100 years, Safta Mazal escaped Jewish persecution in Yemen and in 1949 settled in Kfar Saba, Israel where she has been living ever since.
Safta Mazal is matriarch to hundreds and hundreds of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
When the Australia media asked my mother, “Why so many children?” She responded “We’re going to make up for the 6 million”.
