Ted Comet was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 24, 1924. He moved to New York City in 1946 and in 1965 he founded the first parade to celebrate Israel. The parade has since grown to be one of the worlds largest gatherings in support of the Jewish State. Today in New York, at 99 years old, Comet marched down Fifth Avenue at the annual Celebrate Israel Parade.
