This is Izzy Karten, born and raised in New York City, Izzy is a student at USC currently serving in the Israel Defense Forces. His grandparents, Holocaust survivors Julia and Isidore Karten, fought as Jewish partisans in the Swirz Forest in Eastern Galicia.
