Creative Way to Give Charity

On the upcoming Jewish holiday of #Purim, we celebrate the story of Queen Esther and how she saved the Jewish people from annihilation. Some our traditions include dressing up in costume, exchanging gifts of food and drink (mishloach manot) and donating charity to the needy (matanot l’evyonim).

My sister received this in the mail from one her friends and I just needed to share: “In lieu of mishloach manot, we have enclosed an envelope with a check. Please make the check payable to the charity of your choice and mail it! Happy Holiday! – The Moskowitz Family”
