My grandpa and his best friend Bobby Weiss were separated during the war while they were escaping the Nazis. I grew up hearing many stories about Bobby but that he was likely killed during the war. A few years ago we found out Bobby was still alive, so my grandpa flew out to reunite with his best friend after over 70 years apart. These are heroes and the reason Judaism still flourishes today. Their stories are the reason we must have a strong IDF and will never back down to our enemies. AM ISRAEL CHAI
