“I first received my tefillin at my bar mitzvah when I turned 13 years old but it wasn’t until my year in Israel when I was 17 years old that I started to put them on consistently. Since then, I have missed only a handful of days.
Whether I travel for one day or one week, I always have them in my carry-on. No matter where I am or what I’m doing, I feel G-d with me. Thank you Hashem for the beautiful life You have given me. #ProudJew ”
