David Rossler is a Holocaust survivor. MyHeritage was able to find the descendants of the family who helped save David during WWII. In 2023, he returned to the home where he was hidden and in January 2024, Georges Bourlet was officially recognized as Righteous Among the Nations by Yad Vashem for his noble act of hiding the Rossler family and saving their lives.
“Especially in these uncertain times, it is crucial to highlight the stories of those who risked everything to do what is right and protect the vulnerable. Georges’ actions served as a beacon of hope in a time of great darkness,” says David’s son, Lionel.
