Edan Alexander grew up in Tenafly, New Jersey, and moved to Israel after graduating from Tenafly High School. On October 7, at just 19 years old, he was taken hostage in Gaza. The American citizen spent 584 days in Hamas captivity. This week, on the nearly 2 year anniversary of his abduction, the 21 year old will be honored with a street named after him in his hometown.
