Oded Lifshitz was a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz, a peace activist, and a beloved great-grandfather. On October 7, Hamas terrorists entered the home of Oded and his wife, Yocheved, burning it to the ground before taking them hostage to Gaza. Yocheved was released a few weeks after her abduction, while Oded’s fate remained unknown. This week, we learned of his murder, and today his body has returned to Israel for burial.
