Daniel Pearl was a Wall Street Journal reporter with American and Israeli citizenship who was kidnapped by Pakistani terrorists and murdered in Pakistan only four months after the September 11th attacks.
These were the final words Pearl was forced to say before he was murdered on February 1, 2002:
“My name is Daniel Pearl. I am an American Jew from Encino, California, USA. On my father’s side, my family has Zionist connections. My father is Jewish, my mother is Jewish, and I am a Jew. My family practices Judaism, and we have made several trips to Israel together.”
