It’s that time of year when the Western Wall is carefully cleaned and checked. Millions of notes are removed and placed in a repository in accordance with Jewish law. This type of routine Western Wall maintenance is completed twice a year; prior to Rosh Hashana and Passover. In this photo are engineers checking the integrity of the stones on August 29, 2023.
