Happy Birthday, Norman Lear! Today, the legendary Emmy-winning producer is celebrating his 101st birthday. Lear was born on July 27, 1922, in New Haven Connecticut, to Russian and Ukrainian Jewish immigrants. He went on to create, write and produce over 100 popular TV shows, which include: ‘All in the Family,’ ‘Good Times,’ ‘Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman,’ ‘Maude,’ ‘One Day at a Time,’ Sanford and Son,’ and ‘The Jeffersons’, just to name a few. #MazalTov to this talented icon!
