The Friendship Circle is the fastest growing Jewish organization helping children with special needs. There are 79 different locations worldwide, with a total of 5,000 special needs kids and 11,000 teen volunteers. The mission of the Friendship Circle is based off the famous commandment in the Torah, ״ואהבת לרעך כמוך״  “to love your fellow Jew as yourself”. The inspiration for the Friendship Circle was the Lubavitcher Rebbe. His belief was, “the notion that no one of us is complete unless all of us are included”. This quote bestows the determination and motivation to bring the families with special needs kids, and the community closer together to ultimately create the concept that serves as the core of the Friendship Circle.
