Meet David Barman, an FIU Business professor for BUL 4310 (the legal environment of business.)In his weekly zoom sessions, Barman uses different fun backgrounds to help with class engagement. When asked why Barman stated “several of the students are having additional difficulties not just with online courses but with life in general. I have always used some element of humor in my live classes. I thought of the background idea as a way at least to bring a little joy into this experience.” From Hogwarts to Hawaii, Barman has been zoom traveling the world with his students by his side.
